Redesign a modern Menorah candleholder for daily use
By utilizing the technique "Lost-Wax Casting", the structure and the shape of the Menorah candleholder can have a more modern look but still fit for daily use. I used 3 dimensional printing to print out a wax model.
Then I started to work on the lost wax casting process.
When the lost-wax casting process is done and the shell of the model is hard enough, I let the wax melt out and poured in copper. The last step of redesigning the Menorah candleholder is to let it cool down and polish the exterior.
After that, a modified metal candleholder with a modern twist to its traditional appearance is made.
